This beginner level 45-minute course offers a clear and accessible introduction to Brainspotting therapyβ€”exploring how it works, its core principles, and the powerful ways it can support healing. Participants will gain insight into how trauma can present itself in different forms, learn the neurobiological foundations of Brainspotting, and understand the theory that guides this therapeutic approach. You’ll also discover how to locate and target brainspots using one practical technique, and identify at least two populations or issues where Brainspotting can be especially impactful. Whether you’re a clinician curious about Brainspotting or someone interested in learning how this therapy supports transformation, this short course provides an engaging and practical overview.

Prerequisites: Brainspotting Phase 1 and 2 Trainings

AUDIENCE: Psychologists, social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, executive/life coaches, medical professionals, occupational therapists, physical therapists, naturopaths, acupuncturists, massage therapists, clergy, healing professionals with strong clinical backgrounds, students and interns in a mental health graduate program who have completed Phase 1 and 2 Brainspotting training.
