***Humanitarian webinar to support Brainspotting Help***
Presented by: Mariya-Javed Payne, MSW, LICSW, LADC
As a somatic psychotherapist dedicated to deep, embodied healing, she specializes in trauma, complex trauma, addiction, generational & racial trauma, and the impact of systemic oppression on the body.
An immigrant, a woman, a person in recovery, and a body of culture—her lived experience across India, France, Brazil, and the U.S. informs her work and her worldview.
With 15+ years of studying and practicing numerous healing methods ranging from somatic psychotherapy, shamanic and ancestral healing, and Amazonian plant medicines, as well as navigating her own story of chronic illness, addiction, and complex trauma, she holds space with depth, compassion, and presence. She believes healing is holistic, rooted, and in service of both personal and collective transformation.
