This introductory 60-minute course provides an overview of ketamine-assisted therapy through a Brainspotting-informed lens. Participants will explore the neurophysiological and experiential effects of ketamine, including its impact on trauma processing and non-ordinary states of consciousness. The presentation covers assessment, screening, and practical integration of both low-dose and high-dose ketamine in conjunction with Brainspotting. Emphasis is placed on ethical, legal, and culturally responsive frameworks, along with practical guidance for clinicians seeking to incorporate ketamine into Brainspotting and somatic trauma work.

Instructional Level: Introductory
Prerequisites: Brainspotting Phase 1 **although all clinicians will learn about low dose ketamine and its use in therapy

This is a self-paced, non-interactive online video course offered in a home-study format through a secure learning platform.

AUDIENCE: Psychologists, social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, executive/life coaches, medical professionals, occupational therapists, physical therapists, naturopaths, acupuncturists, massage therapists, clergy, healing professionals with strong clinical backgrounds, students and interns in a mental health graduate program, or the general public.

CONTINUING EDUCATION INFORMATION: This course totals 1 CE hour. Certificates of completion for 1 NBCC clock hour will be sent out within 24 hours after completion of all course requirements.
